Doesn't she look like a 1970's settee?
I'm glad I ultimately opted against the protective plastic though. :D
Anyhow! Here's another vintage sunsuit from the coleccion!
It was 90+ degrees out... She was in no mood for a photo shoot. |
No. Mood. |
Here's the pattern! It's from 1977 - fitting :) |
I sewed View 1, sans pockets, and I went with grosgrain ribbon for the halter instead of self-fabric. I wanted a really flowy, exaggerated bow in the back, as per usual, and I thought ribbon would work better for that. Score.
Trying to pick which rock to eat... |
That one, I guess. :P |
Weeds almost the height of baby = fail. |
A SUDDEN HIGH-SPEED CHASE!! |
Weapons! |
"Emmy, please don't off the puppy..." = ^^ this face. |
Ready!..... Aim!......... |
"Aw, c'mon you guys..." |
that is an awesome photo shoot, especially those at the end. Where did you find your vintage patterns? It reminds me of the stuff my mom used to make for me.

First of all your little girl is a doll! I love the sunsuit! So adorable. Linking up on Paisley Passions.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! Love your post title and the sunsuit but love your baby girl more! Mine are grown and in their early 20s so I love seeing everyone's cute children. Once she grows out of that you need to store it with these pictures for her to enjoy when she is older.
